Storm Players do well at FAA Tournament

Beautiful day at Hopkins for the 2024 Girls FAA Tennis Tournaments...

Kelly was the #4 seed in the 1/2 draw. She defeated Alex from GCDS 7-5, 4-6, 10-5 in the first round. In the quarters, she beat Aanya from RCDS 6-0, 6-1...this was especially sweet since Kelly lost to her earlier in the season. Kelly advanced to the semi-finals.
Maddie faced a very tough opponent Lily from GA in first round falling 1-6, 0-6.

Emma was the #3 seed in the 3/4 draw. She defeated Moira from Sacred Heart 6-2, 5-7, 10-4 in the first round. She defeated Ines from GFA 6-4, 6-0 to advance into the semi-finals.
Sabrina was the #8 seed in the 3/4 draw. She lost in the first round to Illiana from RCDS 0-6, 5-7.

Izzy and Ainsley were the #7 seeds in the Doubles draw. After a first round bye, they defeated GCDS 6-2, 6-0. In the quarters, they faced the #2 seeds GA 1 and fell 1-6, 3-6.
Kate and Charlotte lost in the first round to a strong HOP2 team 0-8.
Daphne and Sophie lost in the first round to GCDS 4-8.
